What a Magical Day!

Friday it snowed a lot! The result was something magical! It was the most beautiful way to start Christmas.

Saturday we spent some time with the Greenwald family. We had fun visiting and seeing people we don't get to see too often.

Our next stop Saturday evening, was over to my parent's house where we celebrated with the Tomb side. There were 8 kids running around and that was wonderful! The sounds of little laughs and little feet bouncing around are amazing.
Here is Dane(and his new "cheese" smile) and cousins Ava, Isabel and Megan.

Mia and Hunter sporting their new hats! So Cute.

We had a fabulous Christmas filled with good conversation, good food, good gifts, and above all...wonderful family! Thanks for such a beautiful holiday everyone! Happy 2008!

Christmas Shiner!

Dane was playing with his Daddy and he ran his face into the chair. Just a few days before Christmas-Of course!!

The result was a cut and a small black-eye!

But, because he's so tough, he just shook it off!

And...t.p.'d the bathroom!

As Erin Would Call These...Randoms...

I had to post this picture because Dane looks like such a big boy to me. I can't believe how he has grown.

Dane has graduated to a booster seat. We decided to try something new to see if he would actually eat more. And, it seems to be working. He loves his new seat.

Getting ready to see Santa!

We went to Santa Day at the Otsego City Hall. When it was Dane's turn, he was a bit nervous. Of course, as his turn was over, he really liked it on Santa's lap. A little "Elf" asked Dane if he has been a good boy this year. Then the elf said to me, that he wasn't really and elf-he was just helping out that day because Santa was only one person and couldn't do it all himself. It was pretty funny!

Just being cute!

Walking with Mom to get the mail!

Here is Dane trying to help shovel. He is always so helpful.

Hmmm...

I was doing some laundry and the next thing I knew, Dane had taken every bottle out of the box. It was hilarious!!!

Mama's Little Helper?

Most all of the time...Dane climbs things. Like EVERYTHING! Today, was no exception.

Here is Dane preparing to climb the dishwasher.

And here is Dane on the dishwasher.
Everytime I open this, he is there ready to "help."

Family Pictures

So, trying to take family pictures using the self-timer on our camera, was not that fun. You get like 10 seconds until it takes the picture-which sounds like a short time, but not for a one year old. Dane did not have the patience to wait.

This is his new thing. And he goes, "I on know." Probably the cutest thing ever!

Dane's beauty blows me away. I guess that's not very masculine of me, but I'm a mom.

Always looking the wrong way...

See...? His smile faded at about the 8 second mark. Darn it.

First Snow!

Yesterday we had our first big snowstorm of the year! Dane really enjoyed watching it come down and would scream with excitement.

Dane was so interested in the snow...

He tried and tried, but just couldn't get up.

Dane looked so cute all bundled up-he reminded me of that little boy in "Christmas Story." It was funny. But he managed to walk pretty well.

Every time I asked him to look at me and smile, he looked the other direction.

Getting ready for round two...

Dane sporting his new winter coat! The slide was extra slippery with a fresh coat of snow!

Baby Jaelyn

Megan, Kelli and Becky came over last night and we had a great time eating pizza, chatting, and ooogling Megan's new baby Jaelyn. Dane was his usual flirtatious self with the ladies, putting on a good show!

Oh my goodness...
So precious! A beautiful mix of mommy and daddy!

Dana also stopped over to see the babe.
Becky and Jaelyn (aka. Jae-Jae, aka. Cheeks!)
Dane was stuck to Kelli like glue.

O' Christmas Tree

We are totally in the Christmas Spirit! Our house has been ready for a few weeks already. Ross thinks I'm crazy, but I just love Christmas so much. Anyways...

Here are a few pictures of our tree. It's up on a table this year to keep our little guy away from the ornaments. Dane loves the lights.

We have to do our holiday photos still, but here is a picture of my little elf! (who by the way says "ho, ho, ho.") I don't know how to upload videos or I would have that and some Christmas music dancing, for you all to see and hear.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, for the most part, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! I was pretty sick so Ross and I didn't make it to the Turkey Run (we were totally bummed out about it) But I took some medicine and managed to have a fun, thankful day with the Greenwald's. We enjoyed great food and company. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Greenwald, Uncle Bryan, Great Grandma Jo, Great Uncle Scott, Great Aunt Dawn, and 2nd cousins Dan and Brad. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture a photo of this great group.

I did manage to get a few of Dane. Here he is riding his favorite toy and looking at Grandma Lynn.

Friday we celebrated the Danielson Thanksgiving. There are so many kids running around and I love every second of it. We had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Danielson's. We also enjoyed our 2nd annual bowling outing. Thanks for the fun everyone! We missed you Aunt Lori, Uncle Dave, Megan and Hannah!

Dane playing with cousins Hunter and Ava

This is part of my side of the family-I'm really bad at taking pictures.

Checking out a ball with Grandma Tammy
He wanted to play like the big kids...pretty soon, you'll be big too, buddy!

Isabel, Mia, Emma (in back) and Jillian...so very cute!

Here's Dane driving the race car

My two handsome guys! Wow, I'm lucky!

Gobble Gobble!!

2 Days of Lounging at Home...

Dane and I have spent the last two days lounging at home-Ross was at the Vikings Game on Sunday and we didn't have our regular ECFE class yesterday. With that said, we had some bonding time.

Dane loves to wear his Daddy's hats. It's very cute, but so hard to get a picture of the little bugger.

So I thought I was being "super cool" and built a fort for Dane and I to play under. He thought it was hilarious and very fun-being on the outside of it. Even more fun for Dane...he tore it down almost immediately. Rats! I thought we would eat a snack and play legos under there. Clearly I was hoping for too much.
