Weekend Getaway with the Girls!

I was lucky enough to be able to take a few days away with my girls this past weekend. It was very hard to leave my boys, but I knew they would have a great time together. Ross confirmed the fact that he is more than capable of taking on the tasks of daddy, playmate, work, and house-cleaning. Thanks for being so awesome, Ross! I had a great weekend!

I'm still waiting to get some more pictures from Kelli-the ones I have are sans Becky (sorry sweets!)
A beautiful Ft. Walton sunset! Thanks for all the fun and hospitality Gustafson's!

Truly A Big Boy

Dane got his first hair cut last week. Just looking at him sitting in the chair made me realize, yet again, that he truly is a big boy.

*This is the before shot*

*This is the after shot-Dane was given a sucker for a job well done*
And I was so excited to get a picture, that I forgot to keep a lock of hair-What a lame Mommy!

Call Him Pants Head...

So I put Dane's pajama pants on his head as I was getting him ready for bed-He walked around for a bit with them on, took them off, and head-butted me until I put them back on. Seriously.

After changing his diaper, he asked me to put his pants on his head. He is so funny!

Yahoo!

Dane had a blast on the slide!

Swinging with Mama!

Picking out Pumpkins

Dane is pointing to the "pump" (pumpkin) that he wants. Hey bud...I don't think it's quite big enough for Daddy to carve!

I had to take a moment for a shot at this perfect picture spot!

Such a hunnie pie!

"Look Mom... hay!"

Reminiscing

Oh my goodness...i just came across these pictures and I got to thinking back. Dane was brand spanking new in this one. Wow, how fast time passes us by.

This is one of my favorite pictures of our little Dane-Bug. He just looks so sweet and innocent. It melts my heart.
I still do this to his tummy when it's not dressed. I love, love, love the belly!

Rrrooarrr!

Dane wanted to try on his Halloween costume and practice his roar-see...he's going to be a lion this year, so he needs to get his part down perfect (hands and roar)! Man is he adorable!

This little piggy went...

Dane is the biggest piggy ever! Just look at how dirty he gets in one car ride...I think he was saying, "oh well, mom. That's what we do."

He's so dang adorable, but such a dirtball. Even his mouth has food still in it.

And last, but not least, is mama's little piggy (look at that shirt) doing something new-Dane figured out how to climb into a new drawer. How lucky are we?

Fun, Fun

My mom and I took Dane and my neice Mia, to the Maple Grove Maze. They have a toddler area, as well as a big kid area. They had a blast playing with everything. As you can tell, Dane thought the ball pit was so fun!

Mia stopped playing long enough for Auntie to take a quick picture! Isn't she a doll?

This is the first time Dane crawled through a tunnel. He was so focused that he wouldn't look at me to take his picture.

All Boy?!! Of course :o)

Ok...so Dane is 100% boy, but this picture shows his softer, feminine side. He wanted to wear Mom's headband and was very excited when he put it on himself. I'm sorry buddy-we've got to get you some more boys to hang out with.

little climber

Dane doesn't really play with his toys-he takes them apart, throws them, and/or climbs on top of them (as he is doing all three in the following pictures). He is such a boy!!
