Happy Days!

My days all run together and some of those days are frustrating. I can never get out of the house on time-I'm always late. Two kids make that worse. But...even having tiring, frustrating days, I still find that each day is better than the day before. I'm so blessed to have a wonderful husband, two beautiful healthy children and an amazing group of family and friends. That being said, here are some happy pictures taken the past few days.

Dane got some new tubby crayons and has a blast coloring the walls.

Cash is so sweet--when he's sleeping! Ha. Kidding. He is really sweet. He's smiling awake already and starting to coo. But, the poor boy is fussy a lot when he's awake. I think some of it is gas and wanting to be held. As a second child, with a toddler as a big brother, he doesn't get held as often as he would like.

My cousin Emma spent the night Sunday and on Monday we went to the local market to have some corn maze fun. And fun we had. Kind of... Right Em?? The maze is 5 acres. It's pretty awesome walking through corn. The rustling and smell were cool. Here are Emma and Dane along with my Mom and Cash.

This sign basically says it all. We did get lost, but only for a short time. Emma was a fantastic navigator, until she got us lost. I wasn't any help. The map was confusing and I was dealing with a tired Dane who didn't want to walk. After 1/2 an hour of walking in circles, we managed to get out. And such a relief for me-I get nervous being lost.

Dane thought the corn was neat until he was too tired to walk.
Lucky me.

These two crazy kids had to take a picture in each of the cutouts. Emma was so fun to have around. She was a great help and Dane loved playing with her. Come again soon, Em.

Cash all bundled up.

Dane looked so dang adorable that I had to take a boatload of pictures of him. I say it over and over, but man I have some beautiful children.

Where Does the Time Go?

Well, it was another busy week at our house. Not that we even did a lot-it just seemed so busy and the days fly by. I find myself asking Ross what day it is and not believing him when he says Friday. It's crazy around here...

Dane was using the big potty a lot a few months ago. Then he lost interest. He has now found interest again. Yay us! I had to take this picture-such a big boy!!

Cash had a tubby in his little tub so of course, Dane had to have one in there too.

Lounging on the bed.

Yummy whip cream.

My Mom and I took the boys down to Stillwater to check out an apple orchard and have some lunch. The apple orchard was lame, but we still had fun. This is a picture of Dane in front of the lift bridge. He really enjoyed watching all the boats.

Just hanging out!

Babies sleeping are so beautiful and peaceful.

Ross and I became godparents to our nephew Cooper. He was baptized Sunday.

Great Grandma Danielson and Cash.

How sweet...

Listening to the story. We started attending story time at the library. Dane loves to listen to people read and especially loved this session.

Swinging his "trunk."

The teacher was reading about elephants-here she had started singing a song and asked the kids to participate. She said "can I get some little elephants up here." Dane responded with a "yeah little elephants." Then he ran up to the front. I can't believe how big he's getting. Back several months, he wouldn't consider participating. Now he will talk to anyone.

Hanging At Home

The boys and I have been hanging pretty close to home these past two weeks. I can't believe how fast the days go by. It's been a little too cool for our regular visits to the park, but the weather outlook is good so we hope to be back playing this week.

Big brother Dane holding Cash.

Every time I try to take a picture of Cash awake, he closes his eyes.

Snoozing...

More snoozing on Daddy

Cash, of course, spends a lot of his time sleeping. The rest of his time is spent on eating. The boy can really eat!

Our beautiful Dane.

Our beautiful Cash.

After two weeks at home with his new brother, I must say, Dane has been awesome! He's getting a bit less attention, but he is taking it very well. We are all adjusting pretty well. I hope life continues to go this smoothly. Cross your fingers...

One Week Down

Well, we made it through the first week at home. It actually went pretty well. Dane has slept through each night this week (funny how he waits until now to do that) and Cash wakes up about every 3 hours to eat. So Ross and I have been getting some sleep.

A tired Mom with her little boys.
Dane has been adjusting better than we thought he would. Although he always wants me to hold him when Cash is in my arms.

We've been trying to keep Dane's schedule as normal as possible. So, we make time to get outside and play as much as we can.

Snuggly, cuddly Cash.

Dad with his boys.

Ross and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on Thursday. He brought home these beautiful flowers and a great gift. We had a nice dinner at home with our new family of 4. Thanks Ross for 4 wonderful years together. I love you so much...

Big brother duties...Dane loves helping with Cash. And he loves to love him up with hugs and kisses. It's the sweetest thing.

Happy 2nd Birthday Dane-Bug!

It's so hard to believe that my baby is 2 already. It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital having him. He is such an amazing, intelligent, loving, beautiful little boy. We have been so blessed by him and can't imagine life without him. Dane makes each day better than the day before. His smile alone, melts my heart. He's my best friend.

Here is the birthday boy!

Dane got a new scooter for his big day, from Mommy and Daddy. He loves it and knows how to "drive it." He says "Dane drive scooter."

My parents stopped by on their motorcycle. Dane thinks Grandpa's motorcycle is so cool. He says "Dane drive it." Of course.

More scooter fun.

Money in the piggy from Great Grandpa Marvin.

Getting ready to blow out the candle.

"Dane. Cake." Enough said.
