Oh Happy Day...

A week ago now (I'm slacking on this blog business-sorry) Dane and I did some "baking" for our ECFE's garage/bake sale. He was so excited to wear his apron-that just so happens to match mine (a gift from Daddy to me!)

Stirring of the marshmallows.

Mmmm...tasting the finished product. Yummo.

While we were baking, Cash was having his own little yum-fest. He is eating some finger foods now and can't shovel them in fast enough.

The happy face of a full bellied boy.

If you look closely enough, you will see that there are two teefers in there. They have been causing a ruckus over the past few weeks, but I think the worst is now over. Until the next one makes an appearance.

A cold and yucky Sunday brought us to Chuckie Cheese. It was a fun and interesting hour. Quite short lived, but it seemed like we were there forever! The place was a zoo. Kids everywhere. Seriously, it overwhelmed me. Luckily, Ross and Dane hit the games, while Cash and I sat back for a bit.

Skee Ball!

Whack-a-mole!
Dane thought this game was hilarious!

Such concentration. The boy has a little problem with winning. He must win. Just like someone else I know...

Fun times playing at Chuckie Cheese.

Cash might be the second funniest kid I know. What is this? Of course everything goes into his mouth these days, but come on...this long drum stick? He was crawling all over the place with it hanging out of his mouth. It was super funny!

Dane's first root beer float. It was good stuff.

My little chubster!

Nothing really new with us. Same old stuff. Still waiting for the nice weather to come. And stay awhile.

Good Times!

It was another great week at our house. Just the usual stuff--hanging out, playing inside and out and tattoo fun!

Grandma and Grandpa Danielson gave Dane some Cars tattoos in his Easter basket. Naturally he wanted to wear one and of course needed both Ross and myself to wear one, too.
Dane has on Mater and Ross has Lightening McQueen.
(not pictured would be me with Doc Hudson!!)

We played at my parent's house one day this week. Cash had his first experience in the little tree house. He loved being up there with his big brother!

The Danester!'

Cash in the 'car of balls'.

Playing outside.

I made a small hopscotch game for Dane to try. He thought it was so much fun!

Hmmm...what is this?

Spraying water--all over himself first then the door. Whatever, right?

Big boy Diego underwear! Dane has continued to do awesome with potty training. Still a few accidents here and there, but he has stopped asking for diapers and now wants his underwear. Although we did have to buy Dora pullups. He begged me and I caved. So what if they are pink--he loves Dora and I love him!

Hoppy Easter!

What a beautiful weekend! We spent a lot of time outside-Which is something I've been waiting for all winter. Boy was it a long winter.

Cash had his first experience with grass. As you can tell by the picture below, he didn't like it very much.

This was the first in a series of pictures leading to a meltdown. It was funny.

Dane got a new "big boy bike" Friday and has been riding it ever since we brought it home.
He's really good, too!

Another new favorite is t-ball. Dane continues to amaze me with all he is capable of doing.

Saturday, we ventured down to Rochester to celebrate Easter with my side of the family. My Aunt Lori and Uncle Dave hosted a great day. We had a wonderful meal, an egg hunt and great weather to play outside. The kids had a lot of fun together.
Thanks for a great day Paul's!

Dane, Emma and Bel.

Mom and Cash!

Putting another egg in his bag--he got entirely too much candy!

Aunt Lori, Megan and Bel.

Yum! More candy. That's what he kept saying with each egg opened.

Cash and Emma!

After our fun in Rochester, we stopped at the Mall of America for even more fun.
Nickelodeon Universe is a fantastic place for two year olds. So much to look at and even more to do. We were joined by my parents and brother, s-i-l and niece and nephews (they couldn't make it to Rochester due to some showings on their house).

Dane is obsessed with the Backyardigan's. These life size statues were so exciting to him.

This truck had horns all over the place. Would have been fine except all you heard was honking. I decided they should have a one honk rule. I did not, however, decide what the consequence should be for more than one honk. Needless to say, it was very annoying.

Taking a train ride with Dad, Hunter, Ava and Aunt Jessie.

We all loved Nickelodeon Universe and are really excited to go back. There was so much that we didn't get to do. It really is an awesome place!

Easter Sunday brought nice weather and a new Spiderman kite!
Dane and Dad had a great morning flying the kite, bike riding and playing at the park. Cash didn't sleep too well the night before (he has an ear infection and two teeth working their way through). So while the other two guys played, we napped.
It was quite a nice morning.

After lunch and a nap for Dane, we all headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Greenwald's house. We had an awesome prime rib dinner and a wonderful Easter egg hunt just for Dane (the most fun he had all weekend was when he was looking for the eggs-he did 3 different hunts in 2 days. Whew. Lots of eggs).

Thanks to all of our family for a great weekend! It was really special and we enjoyed it very much!

Brothers

Yesterday, our two boys really seemed to enjoy playing together. Of course, there were a few times that Dane got irritated with Cash trying to do exactly what his big brother was doing, but...that is to be expected.

These two were squealing with laughter in the tubby together. It was music to my ears! They were so darn cute!

I loved this picture of them just looking at each other. Cash stares at Dane quite often.

As most children do, mine love being naked. So after tubby time, they had a bit of naked time. With diapers of course. I have learned that we always need to put on a diaper. Enough said.

The two goofballs!

Each morning Dane insists on joining Cash in his crib for playtime. Cash thinks it's fun, so whatever...
It's hard to believe that 7 months have passed since Cash was born. Part of me feels like it's been forever and the other part of me is wondering where the heck the time has gone.
As usual, each day continues to be an adventure at our house. Both boys growing like crazy and Cash is still getting into everything and more!
We're all still anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring weather. The season may be here, but tonight's forecast calls for snow. Yuck.
